A classic woodworking tool, these holdfasts are hand forged and take their inspiration from the Roubo style. Their 23/32" diameter shank designed for 3/4" holes (tested in 20mm holes and locks in tight as well) is approximately 12" long, allowing them to hold thick workpieces on thick benches. They feature tapered and gracefully curved arms that have about a 6" reach, but can be made with longer reach by request.
The square corner makes it easy to set and release, while the tapered arm provides flex for a rock solid hold.
